What a great week we had! As you may have seen in the Devon Dispatch our Beach Day pics were featured and we made the front page! We also had a Lock Down drill (the students and staff did a great job) and Fundraising and School Council Meetings. This coming week will be a busy one as skating starts on Monday and Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten registration for next year starts on Wednesday, January 25th.

Skating Starts on Monday!
We are excited to start skating on Monday. For the schedule and more details, please go to our activities page on our website (under Calendar) If you have not signed your permission form for skating - please do so today! Students will not be permitted to skate if we do not have a permission form for them.
Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Registration Starts on Wednesday!
If you, or anyone you know, have questions about Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten for next year - we have all of the answers in one handy place! A comprehensive guide for families is available online - you can find it here or on our website under Programs on the PreK or Kindergarten pages. It is a eye catching and informative guide letting parents know how to register (for all Black Gold Schools), what you need to know about Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten, the links to register, when information nights are and so much more. As you will read in the guide, registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten is only available online - for all Black Gold Schools starting Wednesday, January 25. Devon Winter Walk on Wednesday, February 1
Once again, Robina Baker Elementary School is participating in this school-wide event by going on a wonderful wintery walk in Devon’s trail system. (Note: Kinders will remain on school grounds for their walk.) Grades 1-4 will depart the school at 12:45pm, walk for approx. 45mins before returning to school for some Hot Chocolate generously provided by The Town of Devon. All students in Grade 1 to 4 must have a permission form signed to participate. For more info, you can check out our Activities Page.
SCHOOL WIDE ANTI-BULLYING PROJECT!
All of the RBES students PK - Grade 4 will be involved in a school wide anti-bullying project in the month of February. More details to follow very soon!
