June 24, 2016 Weekly Update

Hello Robina Families!

This was another wonderful week. Words cannot truly express all the emotions that were flying around here. It has been a fabulous year and as we did activities that reflected on all that we have accomplished there was a multitude of laughter, tears and many many hugs. Thank you to all of our Robina Families for working with us throughout the year. We are so proud to be a part of such a great community!!

FAREWELL ASSEMBLY
We may have a shortage of Kleenex in the school after our Farewell Assembly.  We wished farewell to Mrs. Webb, Mr. Henderson, Mrs. Angell and Mrs. Luciw.  Some of our students (as well as parents and staff) were overcome with emotion.  We presented awards and Mrs. Webb presented each Grade 4 student with a personalized book.

MONDAY IS FUNDAY

On Monday we will be having our annual Funday!  Students will participate in a variety of activities outside including swimming:

Throughout the year we have noticed a decline in hot lunch and milk orders.  As we plan for next year, we would like to hear from our families to see if we should continue to provide these programs.  Can you please take a moment to complete this quick survey:

LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE!

Please ensure your library books are all brought back to school!  You will soon receive a letter if your books are not back in the school!

SCHOOL SUPPLY ORDERS 

School supply orders can still be made throughout the summer (after August 1 there will be a late fee charged) and delivered to your home.

SUMMER AND SEPTEMBER INFO

We would like to wish you all a fantastic summer and look forward to seeing everyone again in September!  You will receive a letter from your child's new teacher by email in August.  The first day of school is Thursday, September 1 and is a full day.
