Hello Robina Families!
Whew! What a busy week and with the Devon Days Midway in view from our playground the excitement was high. There were lots of amazing hands on projects happening in our school this week and there was the added excitement of many of our students doing some learning on field trips away from the school. Here is a sneak peak of a couple photos from the Grade 4 Drumheller trip. They just arrived home a couple hours ago.

ASSEMBLIES
We only have two assemblies left this year! Next week, June 17, we will be presenting our awards to our participants in the Black Gold Track Meet. The following Assembly on June 24 will be our "Farewell Assembly" where we say goodbye to our grade 4 students and teachers who are not returning to Robina Baker in the Fall. The final assembly will be at 1:00 pm in the afternoon instead of the usual morning time.
MILK AND HOT LUNCH SURVEY
Throughout the year we have noticed a decline in hot lunch and milk orders. As we plan for next year, we would like to hear from our families to see if we should continue to provide these programs. Can you please take a moment to complete this quick survey:

LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE!
Please ensure your library books are all brought back to school! You will soon receive a letter if your books are not back in the school!
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION!
If you have volunteered in any way at RBES this year, please join us on the morning of Wednesday, June 15 from 8:15 am - 9:15 am for our Volunteer Appreciation! It doesn't matter how much or how little you have helped, we would like to show you our appreciation. If you helped out by volunteering as a supervisor for field trips or any school event, if you donated a cake for the raffle, if you help out in a classroom regularly or just once, if you help a teacher with prep, if you have worked in the library or come out for school council or fundraising committee . . . anything at all . . . WE WANT TO CELEBRATE YOU! Hope to see you there!
SCHOOL SUPPLY ORDERS DUE TUESDAY, JUNE 1
School supply orders to School Start must be in by Tuesday to guarantee delivery to the school before the end of June. You can order school supplies throughout the summer (after August 1 there will be a late fee charged). If you order after June 14 there will only be home delivery.
For more information and the link to order, please go to http://rbes.blackgold.ca/parents/school-supplies/
SWIMMING STARTS ON MONDAY
Do not forget to register for swimming by June 10th. You will need pay on Power School, but you also need to register on the google form. Click this link
If your child has taken previous swimming lessons - ***The pool is asking for a current level for all students (rather than just the beginner, intermediate or advanced levels). Please send their previous report card on Monday! Can't find it - no worries - just make sure your child knows which Swim Kids level they last did. Thanks for your help in making sure each student gets instruction at their appropriate level!
